A couple of days ago, Mrs. Final Answer Trivia and I watched the 2016 movie The Founder, starring Michael Keaton. The basic history of McDonalds—we both enjoyed it.
It got me thinking—what are some items at McDonald’s that I loved—but apparently not enough of everyone else did.
So—here is my quick list—-let me know if you agree/disagree or have your own items you’re missing.
Spoiler Alert—The McRib is not on my list. I had it once, many years ago—-it wasn’t my thing.
McSalad Shakers - Sooo….I was a little bit of a picky eater growing up—and once I started shopping/paying for my own meals—me and vegetables didn’t meet up too often. Not smart, I know. Anyway, around 2000, I realized I needed some more veggies in my life and lettuce doused in dressing, with a little meat sprinkled in to make me feel healthy. The McSalad Shakers were perfect—I could control the amount of dressing, shake it up in a cup—and bam! Instant-healthiness.
The McHotDog - I feel shame for typing this. I love Hot Dogs—I always have. Some time in the late 90’s/early 00’s—McD’s introduced these and I was a big fan. I swear they only lasted like 6 months. Maybe less.
Mighty Wings - Another item that’s been here and gone a few different times. A five piece Mighty Wings and Fries was delicious. Healthy too 😜
Szechuan Sauce - This one originally came out in 1998 to tie-in with the Disney movie Mulan—Szechuan teriyaki dipping sauce for nuggets. It was glorious….and then it was gone. It’s been back a couple of times—three years ago was the last time. I loaded up on it until my local McDonalds sold out. It had a little bit of spice—but not too strong. Delicious.

In honor of McDonalds—there is a question in Anything Goes for you today.
TV 📺
Hodge-Podge💥
In 1985—this actor’s career took a definite upswing when he got this movie role that changed his luck. However—just one year prior, he had been a character on this sci-fi tv show which was a One Season Wonder.
Who is this actor and what was this tv show he had a role in? Bonus points if you can tell me his characters name on the tv show—pat yourself on the back if you know this movie characters name also.
